ANNOUNCEMENTs
I’m going to post some updates below for everyone as we are getting a lot of messages about the same things. I am so excited for 2022! We have a lot going on and new things coming! I’m going to try to dedicate more time to doing updates on pairings and litters as well as new products and educational posts. I’ve been kinda MIA for the last few weeks as we were very busy with the holidays and then my whole family was sick with covid. Thankfully we are all feeling better and getting back to business now!
For our rat people: We are getting some new breeder rats from another breeder very soon and we are hoping to be breeding around March! We will only have a few varieties available at first but we are hoping to import different varieties throughout the year! To start with we will be focusing on Marten, Himalayan, Siamese, Hairless, Silvermane and Rex but we are hoping to also be working with Dwarf, Harley, Werewolf, Downunder and Roan by the end of the year! If you are interested in getting babies from our first litters please get your applications in soon and get on our waitlist as we have a lot of people interested already! If you have any questions please feel free to message me!
For our guinea pig people: We have a very exciting year planned with our cavies! We will still be focusing on Teddies, Texels and Americans but we will be bringing Skinnies back as well! We are also considering bringing in some Peruvians but as of right now we are undecided. (Please feel free to message us and weigh in!) Some of our 2022 plans include; self, solid, broken, roan and cal pointed teddies - broken texels - self and cal pointed americans - broken, self and roan skinnies! I’m hoping to make a post more about the varieties and colors we are aiming for this year. For our rabbit people: 2022 will be the first year we are breeding rabbits! For now we are focusing on English Lops! We are hoping to be working with self, broken, magpie, tricolor & harlequin! We are still working to import good breeding stock but we are hoping to have litters by the end of the year! It’s been a long time coming that we bring rabbits into our program! English lops have been my favorite breed for a very long time and I’m so excited to finally be working with them! For our hamster people: We will be cutting down on our breeding hamster and will only be breeding a very small number in 2022. We haven’t had a ton of interest in our hamsters but I still love them and am not ready to get completely rid of them. If you’re interested in purchasing hamsters please message me as I have not been posting babies to our website.

What we are hoping 2022 to look like! We have a ton of plans for next year including lots of new breeding animals coming to Bleu Jay Exotics! We have three litters of guinea pigs due right after new years and a few more planned for after that! We are planning to be breeding plenty of teddies, texels, americans & skinny/werewolfs during the year! (We will not have any skinnies or werewolfs until spring at the earliest.) Rats will be back very soon! We are picking up a large group in a few weeks and we are hoping to have some litters born as early as the end of January or early February. We may also be bringing back a small amount of fancy mice! Mice and hamsters will be bred all year round so contact us directly if you are looking for some, we may not always post these in "available animals". We are also excited to be introducing English Lop rabbits! We are not expecting any litters until Spring/Summer so please be patient! Our waitlist for animals are always open, don't hesitate to jump on! More updates coming soon!

Hey Guys! Another announcement! We have cavy babies available for reserve now, we also have another litter which should be born within the next week! Three more cavies pairings have been made, see the details under "Current Pairings". We also have more texel cavies and our first english lop buck coming next week! Rats will be coming sometime in December! Please check out available pets list we will be listing more hamsters soon! I am also working on more products for our Etsy store and we have a free sticker sale going on now! (check our Facebook or Instagram for details)!

Hi everyone! I'm so happy to be breeding again! Please keep an eye on this page for announcements about what's going on here and changes happening. I will try to keep our website as up to date as possible. We had two litters born this week, one cavy litter and one litter of dwarf hamsters! They will both be available for reserve once they turn three weeks old and we pick our holdbacks! We will doing two or three more cavy pairings this week or next. We are also working on acquiring some rats for breeding purposes so please stay tuned! If you can please consider ordering some of our stickers through facebook or instagram or donating! The money we make goes toward our animals and getting started again! We are considering starting a new waitlist for our pets! Please let us know what you think! More updates coming soon!
