We do not offer shipping for our animals (via airline) but we do all our animals to go with certain pre-approved ground transporters. (Please contact us for more information on this option.
We also offer a few meeting spots around the north jersey area. Those meeting spots and prices are listed below. Occasionally we will offer a personal transport if we will be traveling, please keep an eye on our Facebook page for info regarding these routes as we will not have them available often. |

These are designated pickup spots that can be used for most scheduled pickups. If you'd like to pickup at a spot other than our free pickup location, make sure to let us know when you reserve any animals. 1.) ACME Markets / 530 County Road 515, Vernon Township, NJ 07462... Ground Transport by Private Business
- Fees for the transport itself are decided by each individual business and you must contact them to find out their rates. -Please make sure the spot we will be meeting transport is no more than 90 minutes from our location. -If the transport does not supply carriers for the trip our carrier fees are as follows: 16 quart bin carrier (2 rats/4 mice) / $10 54 quart bin carrier (2 cavies/4 rats) / $15 Personal Transport Routes by Bleu Jay Exotics - For our personal transports, there are fees for each spot/hole as follows: $25 per cavy (2+/$15 per cavy) $25 for each pair of rats (4+/$15 per pair) - We will supply a carrier for the journey but all adopters are required to bring appropriate carriers for pickup. If you'd like to purchase a carrier to keep, they are as listed above in the section "Ground Transport". |

Pickup Policies:

Below are the policies regarding animal pickup for any of our north jersey pickup locations.
1.) When litters are ready to leave, adopters who have paid in full will be given at least two time slots (typically on weekends) in which I am available for you to arrange pickup for your animals. A.) You will be contacted about these pickup slots and will be asked to pick a date and time for pickup within these slots. 2.) If none of the slots work for you, you have 7 days to arrange another pickup date and time. 3.) You will have one opportunity to reschedule pickup during the 7 days following the release date of the animals. A.) If pickup is not rescheduled during this time, you will forfeit animals and all money paid toward them. (Including deposit, balance and any delivery fees.) |
4.) If you can not arrange pickup in the 7 days following the release date of any animals, you will be charged a boarding fee.
A.) Boarding fees are as follows: - Rats/Hamsters: $5 per week per animal (2 rats = $10 per week... etc.) - Guinea Pigs: $10 per week per animal C.) If we hold your animals for any number of days after the 7 day holding period, you will be charged a boarding fee. B.) All fees must be paid before pickup. D.) Failure to pay any fees will cause you to forfeit any animals and money already paid toward them. 5.) No animals will be held longer than 2 weeks past their release date. 6.) If you fail to meet at the agreed upon spot on the agreed upon date and time, you will forfeit all animals and money paid toward them. |
